ABOUT US

Enroute Interfaces, Inc. is a startup of McMaster University of Canada. We are located on the campus of McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

EnRoute Interfaces creates molecular technologies to beneficially change the behaviour of surfaces and interfaces. Interfaces control the properties of many materials – adhesion vs slip, biocompatible vs antimicrobial, corrosion vs rust-proof. EnRoute Interfaces designs new compounds and processes that allow one to tune the surface properties of polymers/plastics and rubbers to enhance their reactive, physical and biological properties.

We offer contract services for interfacial silane and silicone materials that of hydrophilic surface modification for your customer-defined devices; sustainable silicones using natural materials; and silicone elastomers that can benefit from unusual fillers.

We conduct research, development, and production at the facility of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology of McMaster University. We have full access to analytical facilities in McMaster University with a state-of-art facility able to investigate the nature of the material surfaces and biological/material interfaces.
